Opened in 1999 as Philips Arena on the site of the Omni, renamed State Farm Arena in 2018 and then gutted: a $200 million rebuild that same year removed thousands of seats, replaced them with clubs, bars and a courtside barbershop, and left one of the smallest and most unconventional bowls in the league at around 17,000.

The rebuild is what you need to know before choosing. Whole blocks of ordinary seating were replaced by social spaces, so the seating map is not the symmetrical bowl the building's age suggests, and two sections that look equivalent on a chart can be completely different products. The lower level sidelines remain the reference view; the upper level is compact and its corners are good value. Because so much premium seating sits on one side, checking the actual sightline before buying matters more here than in most arenas.
