FedExForum opened in 2004 at the foot of Beale Street, and its design leans hard into that address: the exterior and interiors are built around Memphis music history, with a facade that references the neighbourhood rather than the usual arena box. It is one of the smaller bowls in the league at around 17,800 and one of the more atmospheric.

A compact bowl with a steep upper level, which keeps the last rows closer to the floor than the capacity suggests. Lower level sidelines are the reference view and get close to the court; the club ring between the tiers flattens the angle; upper corners are the value pick and hold both baskets in frame. Because the building is small, the difference between a good seat and a cheap seat here is smaller than in the league's bigger arenas.
