Chase Center opened in 2019 in Mission Bay, privately financed and purpose-built for basketball, and moved the Warriors out of Oakland after 47 years. It is a compact, expensive, very modern bowl of about 18,000 wrapped in a public plaza on the San Francisco waterfront, with the Bay Bridge in view from the upper concourse.

Purpose-built for basketball means every seat is angled at the court, and the bowl is small enough that the top row is closer than in most arenas of the same capacity. The lower level sidelines are the reference view; the theatre and club levels between the rings give the flattest angle; the upper level is steep and its corners are the value pick. Premium inventory is unusually large here, so the lower bowl carries more club product and fewer ordinary seats than an older building.
