Paycom Center opened in 2002 as the Ford Center, was rebuilt in 2010-11 for the arrival of the Thunder, spent a decade as Chesapeake Energy Arena and took its current name in 2021. It is one of the loudest buildings in the league relative to its size, and the city has approved a replacement arena for the end of the decade — so this bowl has a known expiry date.

A steep, compact bowl of about 18,200 where the noise stays in. The lower level sidelines are the reference view and get close to the floor; the club ring flattens the angle. The upper level rises hard, which is what keeps the last rows readable, and its corners are the cheapest seat in the building that still sees the whole court. Behind the baskets the lowest rows are close and loud and lose the far end.
