Honda Center opened in 1993 as the Anaheim Arena, was the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim for a decade — “the Pond” to everyone who went there — and took its current name in 2006. It sits in the Platinum Triangle next to Angel Stadium, it has no basketball tenant, and it is one of the more intimate rooms in the league at around 17,200 for hockey.

Hockey-first geometry and a manageable size. The 100 level along the boards gives the reference view of the sheet; the 100 corners see both goals for less and are the value pick. The club ring above flattens the angle and is the most comfortable place to sit. The 400 upper level is steep but the bowl is not enormous, so centre ice up there reads the whole rink without feeling distant. Behind the goals the low rows are loud and lose the far end — worth it once, not worth it if you want to follow a game.
