Opened in 1999 as the Air Canada Centre — still the ACC to most of Toronto — and renamed Scotiabank Arena in 2018, this is one of the busiest arenas on earth, shared with the Raptors and running close to two hundred event nights a year. It sits at the foot of the downtown core, joined to Union Station by the PATH, so it is the easiest arena in the league to reach without a car.

Published figures for hockey range from 18,800 to 18,819 seats.

The bowl is compact and the 100 level starts close to the ice, so proximity is the default rather than the premium here. The 100 level along the boards is the reference view; the 200 ring is a shallow band of premium and suite seating that flattens the angle; the 300 level is steep, high and — for hockey specifically — better than its price suggests, because from centre ice up there you can read a whole shift. Note that the building is configured for basketball on many nights, and a section that sits close to a basketball floor can sit further from the boards than the seating plan implies. Check the section in 3D before you buy.
