Bobcat Stadium from 1981 until May 2024, when University Federal Credit Union paid twenty-three million dollars over fifteen years for the name; the pitch has been Jim Wacker Field since 2003. The shape is often described as an elongated octagon with a double ring, and it has arrived there by closing one end at a time: the running track came out and the north end was closed in a thirty-three-million-dollar job in 2011-12, and the south end was closed in October 2025.

The Cat Walk is the tradition: the team buses arrive on a clock and the players walk in through Tailgate Central behind the cheerleaders, the Strutters and Boko the Bobcat. The Strutters are the largest precision dance team in the country and perform in hats and boots. A win lights the maroon star on top of the J. C. Kellam Building. The heat is the dominant fact of an early-season day here — Hill Country September runs between thirty-three and thirty-eight degrees with real humidity, and there is no cover.

The west is the home and premium side with the suites, the Champions Club, a second-floor banquet room and the press box; the east is general seating and was fitted with backed seats in 2024. The south end change of October 2025 matters more than it sounds: the thirty-seven-million-dollar performance centre that went in there brought new premium seating and a second-level terrace looking onto the pitch, and it finally joined the east and west concourses so that you can walk the whole way round the ground for the first time in its history. Since the track was removed in 2012 the stands sit tight against the field.
