Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M. M. Roberts Stadium, and The Rock to everybody who goes there. It was dedicated as Faulkner Field on 29 October 1932, and the nickname is literal: student-athletes hauled the concrete for the original stands themselves. It was rebuilt between 1974 and 1976 for six and three tenths of a million dollars into the double-decked shape it has now, and took the Roberts name then. The bowl was finally closed in 2008.

The Eagle Walk starts two and a half hours before kick-off — since 2025, half an hour earlier than it used to. The ROTC cannon, the Pride of Mississippi, the Dixie Darlings, the cheerleaders and the team come out of Bennett Auditorium, down East Memorial Drive and in under the stadium. The Eagle Walk is also a place: a wall beneath the east side that first-year students have repainted every autumn for more than fifty years. South Mississippi in September is hot and humid enough that the club put misting fans and hydration stations on both concourses in 2025; the ground has been fully cashless since then too.

Double-decked stands on the east and west sidelines from the 1976 rebuild, so both sidelines have a lower and an upper tier and the upper deck cuts the sky out of the back rows of the lower one. The north end holds the Athletic Center from 2002 and the video board. The south end was closed in 2008 in a thirty-two-million-dollar job that brought suites, a club level and the visiting dressing room. The press box is on the west, refurbished in 2013, and that side has had backed seats since 1989. Students sit on the east, lower and upper.
