Adding a Visual Layer to the MiLB Ticketing Journey
How Ontario Tower Buzzers worked with 3D Digital Venue to create an interactive 3D seat selection experience for ONT Field, integrated with the existing MLB ticketing ecosystem.
The Challenge: Making Every Seat Easier to Understand
Ontario Tower Buzzers wanted to give fans a visually immersive and intuitive way to understand their seating options when purchasing tickets for ONT Field.
The objective was to bring accurate seat visualization directly into the online ticketing journey. Instead of relying solely on a traditional seat map, fans could explore the venue in 3D and see the experience associated with their selected seat before purchasing.
ONT Field also presented a production challenge: the stadium was still in development. There was no completed physical venue available to capture or use as a visual reference.
The Solution: 3D Visualization Within the Existing Ticketing Flow
3D Digital Venue created a complete interactive 3D representation of ONT Field and integrated it with the existing TDC ticketing flow.
Using architectural and BIM files, the 3DDV team modeled the stadium and created a 360° panoramic 3D view from every seat in the ballpark.
An interactive seat manifest connects the visualization with the ticketing experience, giving fans a visual reference as they explore their seating options.

Behind the Digital Venue
Creating ONT Field required the 3DDV production team to work directly from complex Revit and BIM files.
The architectural models included building systems, excess geometry, and other information that was not relevant to the fan-facing experience. The team isolated and extracted the essential architectural elements needed to accurately recreate the venue while optimizing the digital model for online performance.
The seat manifest also required custom processing to align the venue data with 3DDV standards and ensure each seat was mapped correctly.
