Gates open at 5:00 PM for a 7:00 PM start, and the parking lots open at 3:00 PM.
Bags, cameras and tickets
Clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 in, or a non-clear bag no bigger than 4.5 x 6.5 in. Banners larger than 11 x 17 in are not allowed, and neither is anything with lights or battery packs on it. Selfie sticks, backpacks, lasers, umbrellas and outside food and drink are all out; so are GoPros, video cameras, tripods, monopods and professional or detachable-lens cameras. Polaroid cameras and portable phone chargers are allowed. Entry is mobile ticketing only — the barcode lives in the Gillette Stadium app.
Getting there
The MBTA runs two special event trains: from South Station at 5:00 PM, arriving Foxboro at 6:00 PM, and from Providence at 4:15 PM, arriving at 5:30 PM. Round-trip tickets are $20 through the mTicket app. Driving, a prepaid pass is the only way to park on the stadium side of Route 1; general parking is included with the ticket.
