Bags, cameras and tickets
BC Place is the odd one out on this tour, so do not pack by American rules: a non-clear bag is fine as long as it is no bigger than 6.5 x 8.5 in, and a clear plastic bag can go up to 12 x 12 x 6 in. Backpacks are refused even when clear, and so are mesh bags, camera bags, binocular cases, seat cushions, tinted or patterned plastic bags and anything larger. Bag storage costs $10 an item, first come, at the depositor’s own risk. Selfie sticks are out. Tickets are tapped from a phone wallet at the turnstile, and it is worth re-downloading them before you leave: the gate printed on the ticket can change.
Getting there
The stadium is in the middle of downtown Vancouver, which is why its own advice is to come by transit. Driving means third-party lots around the building — EasyPark, Impark, Indigo, Westpark. Accessible drop-off is off Pacific Boulevard below Gate F, with no parking there.
