Key dates, 2026-27 season
Published by the league and checked against nhl.com (2026-27 schedule release + stats pack) on 19 August 2026. Everything the NHL had not confirmed that day — the playoff bracket, the trade deadline and the Stanley Cup Final dates — is deliberately not listed here rather than guessed. There is no Olympic break this season: the Milano-Cortina Games were in February 2026.

A schedule is only half the question
Knowing that the Bruins visit Madison Square Garden on a Tuesday tells you when to buy. It does not tell you what you will actually see. A hockey rink is 61 metres by 26 — more than four times the floor of a basketball court in the same building — so inside one arena and one price band, a seat on the glass behind the goal and a seat twenty rows up at centre ice are two different games. One is close enough to hear the boards; the other is the only one that reads a breakout end to end. A fixture list never answers that.
So every game on these pages links to the building it is played in: home games to the team's own arena, road games to the host's. From there you click a section on the interactive map and a real panoramic view from that part of the arena opens instantly. 31 teams, 31 arenas, one per franchise — none of them shared between two NHL teams, which is why the schedule and the seat view fit on the same page.
Frequently asked questions
- Where can I find an NHL team's full schedule?
- Every team with a mapped arena has its own page here: pick it from the selector or the grid and you get that team's complete 2026-27 season, home and away, with a link to the 3D seat views of the arena each game is played in.
- How many games does each NHL team play in 2026-27?
- 84, of which 42 are at home. It is the first 84-game season since 1993-94, and the league published the whole calendar at once, so every game is already listed on these pages.
- Which 2026-27 games are not played in an NHL arena?
- 7 of them: the Heritage Classic in Winnipeg, two Global Series games in Helsinki, two more in Düsseldorf, the Winter Classic in Salt Lake City and the Stadium Series in Arlington. They are listed with a Neutral tag and carry no arena link, because a home game played in a football stadium is not a home game in that team's building.
- Where is NHL All-Star 2027?
- UBS Arena in Elmont, NY, on 5-6 February 2027, inside the 4-7 February 2027 break: a five-team 3-on-3 tournament — Canada, Finland, Sweden, the United States and a World team — with a four-game round robin of five-minute games and a ten-minute final between the top two. It has its own page here, with the 3D map of the arena.
- Are these official NHL schedules?
- No. This is an independent site built with 3D Digital Venue technology and is not affiliated with the NHL or any team. The dates come from the league's published calendar and puck-drop times move with the broadcast schedule; check the official listing before you travel.
